“Our brief was to create a show drawing from the many genres of the Brisbane Festival, music, food, dance, entertainment, and fireworks featured. We were lucky enough to get the talented David Collins filmed on green screen and incorporated into some scenes. The show started with the building forming, brick by brick, then cracking to reveal it’s Festival themed pink façade. The structure was also ‘Blown Away’ with a leaf-blower, then sank to murky depths in the Lost Treasury of Atlantis scene. We also had a lot of fun with fruit character animations throughout, drawing on the Festivals many food offerings. “
