MOSCOW, RUSSIA – ART VISION, the biggest projection mapping and VJing Competition, opens call! Artists are welcome to submit their projects by 10 August 2017. Shortlisted entry works will be shown on the facades of world famous Bolshoi and Maly Theaters and will be seen by millions and millions of people. The VJ battle will strike in MIR Hall being a brand new indoor venue in Moscow. Top three in each nomination will be awarded with money prizes. Entry is free.

Light is a force we have got used to. Our ancestors adopted this force and made it serve our everyday’s life. There are many different sources of light: vital sunlight, intimate candlelight. We live in the ocean of light; however, we do not notice its existence. Art Vision Competition brings together audiovisual artists from all around the world in search for the creative potential of light and to inspire the festival goers. Nowadays Art Vision is a global platform that helps artists to promote their works, set reliable connections, and develop creative skills.

More than 150 artists from 31 countries took part in the Competition in 2017. The winners were artists from Russia, China, Japan, United Kingdom, Spain, and Brazil.

Art Vision Competition comes in three nominations:

  • Classic Architectural Mapping
  • Modern Video Mapping
  • VJin

The Competition will take place as part of the annual Circle of Light Moscow International Festival, which will be held from 23 to 27 September 2017.
