ABOUT

What is the World Masters of Projection Mapping?

It’s a brand new competition being held in Amsterdam early next year showcasing the finest in projection mapping artistic creativity and cutting edge technology. It’s being produced as a cooperative venture between Amsterdam Light Festival, Integrated Systems Events (ISE) and the RAI Amsterdam.

What is Amsterdam Light Festival?

Amsterdam Light Festival is manging the competition, in collaboration with ISE and RAI Amsterdam. Amsterdam Light Festival is an annual cultural winter event exhibiting tailor-made light artworks on the canals and the former Marineterrein. Now in its sixth year, it features over 40 artworks and installations from artists, designers and architects from around the world. Located around the city centre, highlights will include an installation from Chinese artist Ai WeiWei.

Will the World Masters of Projection Mapping be featured at ISE?

Yes! On 9 February, the last day of ISE 2018, the World Masters of Projection Mapping Presentation and Showcase will take place. This will include presentations from all five finalists, the announcement of the overall winner and a unique insight into the creative and technological expertise that went into making the competition possible. We believe that the competition will appeal equally to exhibitors and attendees.
